My name is Carestin Cullman, and I am the mama behind the blog, New Mama Drama.
New Mama Drama was first thought of during my late nights postpartum in 2022 after the birth of my son, Asher. I was up most of the night, either breastfeeding or pumping, and texting with other mamas who were also up late doing the same thing. I finally started it in 2025 because it’s time to act on that dream and see where it takes me.
My dream is to create a space dedicated to fostering a community and providing answers and resources for new mamas and mamas from all walks of life. Mamas helping mamas!
When I’m not busy blogging, I love cooking, booking, playing, and praying. I am also a teacher, and although I am a full-time SAHM, I teach Preschool art classes once a week. I love using my educational background to incorporate learning activities into our playing and daily activities. I also started a Mom Walk group in my area, and I love the connections I have made locally through that.
Most people are surprised to learn that we lived in Downtown Toledo until our son was about 1.5 years old. Now, we love suburban life, which is just a short distance from where we used to live downtown.
